1. Information We Collect

Front of Room may collect basic account information such as your name, email address, login status, workspace settings, connected sheet URL, saved resources, and preferences you choose to save.

2. Classroom and Lesson Data

The app may display content from your connected Google Sheet or saved classroom resources. Teachers control what information they put in those sources and should avoid entering sensitive student data unless their school or district permits it.

3. Local Storage

Front of Room uses browser storage to remember settings such as widget layout, demo mode, timer settings, saved resources, randomizer preferences, and other classroom display preferences.

4. Account Storage

If you create an account, selected workspace settings may be stored so your classroom display can be restored when you sign in on another device.

5. Third-Party Services

Front of Room may connect to or display content from services such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, Canva, YouTube, websites, weather data providers, Supabase, and calculator resources. Those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

6. How We Use Information

Information is used to provide the classroom display, save preferences, load connected content, improve the product, troubleshoot issues, and support users who ask for help.

7. Student Privacy

Front of Room is intended to minimize student data. Teachers should use preferred names, class labels, and non-sensitive classroom information whenever possible and follow all school or district student privacy requirements.

8. Data Sharing

Front of Room does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to run the app, such as hosting, authentication, email, or database providers.

9. Data Security

Reasonable steps are taken to protect account and workspace information. No online service can guarantee complete security, so users should avoid storing highly sensitive information in the app.
